Reflections and Affirmations

Reflections
Once upon a time, a little girl walked with her daddy.
He shared with her a dream he'd had as a
little boy growing up in Brooklyn, New York.
That dream was to live in the mountains and enjoy
a country lifestyle. That dream also became
the little girl's dream and for many years
they talked endlessly about making it a reality.
Finally, in the winter of his life, that old man's dream became a reality and for 15 years he
lived his dream, here in the North Georgia mountains. He shared that reality with his
daughters and with our spirit brother. At 89, he passed away, passing on that dream to us.
Then in the fall of the daughter's life she met the love of her life. As fate would have it, his
dream was to also live this lifestyle. They married and share the dream now.
Her sister and mother, though still city dwellers, are also an integral part of this whole
experience. Sister became a Polarity Therapist and yoga instructor and their dreams have
melded together.
I share this with you, that you may know some of the history of this magical place we get to
call home. We are so grateful to be here and as Dad shared with us, we thank him, over
and over again, by sharing with you.
We invite you to share in this experience where you can dream your dreams, where your
creativity can flow with ease and where you can retreat into the peace and quiet of
Chamomile Retreat.
Affirmations
"To affirm means to make firm. An affirmation is a
strong, positive statement that something is already
so. It is a way of making firm that which you are
imagining. While you are using affirmations, try
to temporarily suspend any doubts or disbelief
you may have, at least for the moment.
Practice getting the feeling that that which you desire
is very real and possible."

Testimonial
In the woods, in the mountains is a pond surrounded by the Chamomile Retreat.
Quiet, beautiful, calming. Truly a retreat from city noise and responsibilities.
Practice yoga on the lawn or hike the mountain trails. Watch for ducks, deer and
the occasional bear. Or just sit on the deck and do nothing but read a good book.
Jim and Ande will welcome you with open arms. A charming and wonderful place
to just be. Toni S., Atlanta GA
